MAXBLUE water filter is suitable for two kinds of refrigerators: side by side and bottom freezer. For the side by side refrigerator, simply line up the arrows on the filter and filter cartridge holder and gently push the filter inside the holder, then turn to the right until it stops. For the bottom freezer refrigerator, line up the ports on the filter as shown and gently insert the filter, then turn to the right until the arrows are aligned. Note to run water from the dispenser for 5 minutes at 0.5 gpm (about 2.5 gallons) to clear the system and prevent sputtering.
